Global Resorts, Inc., initially formed in 1980, was created as a consulting organization to provide a focused range of definitive services related to the resort timesharing and leisure industry. Global's full-service capabilities cover the total spectrum of vacation ownership products and services in conventional timesharing, fractionals, Private Residence Clubs and camping resort developments.

Global Resorts, Inc. focuses on providing guidance and solutions, on a worldwide basis, to new developers seeking entry into the timeshare industry, and working with established industry developers in strategic planning to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of their operations. Services include developing business plans, marketing and sales strategies, project economics and financial projec­tions, and orchestrating product offerings in concert with designers, architects, and legal professionals. Global also conducts marketing and sales operations.

Global principals haves worked on over 700 timesharing, fractional, and camping resorts worldwide, covering 47 states in the U.S. and 32 foreign countries. The company has worked with hospitality leaders Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Grand Vacations, Hyatt Vacation Club, Wyndham Vacation Ownership Resorts and Fairmont Hotels, and most of the leading independent developers in the interval ownership and vacation club/membership industry.

Jim Beckham, Jr., Chairman & CEO, has over twenty-nine years of industry experience and is currently an active member of ARDA, a certified Registered Resort Professional (RRP), and has been a speaker on Sales and Marketing, and Property Management at annual conferences. He was a founding member of the Colorado ARDA chapter in 1991, and served as the initial Chairperson of ARDA Carolinas. Prior to his association with Global, Beckham held senior positions with Fairfield Resorts (now Wyndham Vacation Resorts) and RCI.

Sweeney is a thirty-five year veteran of the leisure industry with experience in every phase of the business. In the course of his career, Sweeney has served in senior executive positions with Marriott Vacation Club and RCI. He has actively served in ARDA since 1969, as Association Director, Co-Chairman of the Finance Committee, and Chairman of the Ethics Commit­tee. He is a Founding Fellow of the ARDA Foundation Research Institute. Sweeney is a certified Registered Resort Professional (RRP), and a founding member and prior Chairman of the William F. Harrah Hotel College International Advisory Board at UNLV where he also serves as adjunct faculty in teaching assignments related to vacation ownership. He was named the 2003 Industry Leader of the Year by UNLV Hotel College .
